e-Commerce Conference

e-Commerce Conference

Monaghan I.T. Forum, as part of the Monaghan Economic Forum established by Monaghan County Council in 2011 is hosting an e-Commerce Conference on Wednesday 27 February 2013 from 4.00pm to 8.00pm in the Nuremore Hotel, Carrickmacross.   The e-Commerce Conference aims to highlight the opportunities open to retailers throughout the county to expand their business on-line with presentations providing practical examples and advice from leading professionals and e-tailers. The conference will also include presentations from local retailers who have expanded and developed their business on-line adding to their “High Street” presence in Monaghan.     I would be most grateful if you would encourage local retailers to register to attend this eCommerce Conference. Although the conference is free, prior registration or booking is essential and early indications are that the conference will be over-subscribed.     The I.T. Forum under the chair of Claire Cunningham (Aura Internet Ltd.) is a partnership consisting of members of the local business community and I.T. specialists based in the county. The I.T. Forum’s remit is to promote technology in Monaghan is supported by Monaghan County Enterprise Board and Monaghan County Council. The I.T. Forum has been instrumental in highlighting issues relating to IT infrastructure and usage throughout the county. Details of its research and work on mapping the county’s telecommunication infrastructure can be seen on the monaghanbusiness.com website (now linked directly to the monaghan.ie website)       Download pdf eCommerce Flyer with agenda
